The podcast sync of @downcastapp iOS + Mac remains broken beyond repair. I don't have the time for this, so I'll move on to something else.
-
@downcastapp OK, now my playlists don't sync at all. The "last remote change" remains more recent than "last local change".
-
@downcastapp What's the process to "fully reset" Downcast Mac 1.1? When I start it, no window opens
-
@downcastapp Mac 1.1.0 crashed at startup, so I deleted ~/Library/Containers/com.jamawkinaw.downcast.mac. Now there's no window at start!

Blog Post: Moniker, the Security Weak Point s.benad.me/ZrlARz
-
@drkiki @lonseidman It seems Moniker was hacked recently: domainnamewire.com/2014/10/06/moniker-password-reset/. Got a pswd reset email from them this AM
-
Also @moniker, your "strong password rules" are quite weak. Look at how Dropbox handled it (plus source code): tech.dropbox.com/2012/04/zxcvbn-realistic-password-strength-estimation/
-
BTW, @moniker, new passwords has to be max 8 characters, not "at least". Changing it to something longer locks you out.

@CrashPlanHelp It’s fine. I did a sudo chflags noschg CrashPlan.app. But a less savvy user would be completely stuck
-
@CrashPlanHelp It was placed in “Recovered Files” when I reinstalled the OS. Using the uninstaller didn’t work
-
On Mac, the schg flag should be reserved for system files. Rude and nasty elsewhere. Remove it from CrashPlan.app @CrashPlanHelp
-
Arg! For some reason, @crashplan on Mac has the schg (SF_IMMUTABLE) flag set, so I couldn’t delete it without using chflags as root
-
@ReadRETRO I’m getting a weird TCPDF error when trying to download issue 4. Sent you an email.
-
@BradMcCarty @fullcontactapp Seems to be working now. Thanks!
-
@fullcontactapp Seems like I can’t sign up with Google. Also tried creating account email w/ password, and "Create Account" just spins
